This graduating senior gives mom a lift
Mike Reilly, left, kneels next to his mother, Marlene, in front of their home in Milliken, where the son helps care for the parent. Reilly is wearing the jersey he will wear next month in Hawaii, where he is going to play football in the King Kamehameha Pigskin Classic set for June 8-15 in Honolulu. Reilly, a student-athlete at Roosevelt High School, graduates this Saturday.

Instead of the mother picking up the child, it's the other way around.
When the need arises, Mike Reilly physically lifts his mom in and out of her wheelchair. It's something he's done over the years out of necessity and responsibility, but mostly out of love.
Reilly, the eldest of two sons to Marlene Reilly of Milliken, is one of 106 seniors who will graduate from Roosevelt High School on Saturday. The ceremony is set for 10 a.m. at Peterson Field.
