WILLIAMS

Dallas DeVere Williams, D.D.S., M.D., age 86, of Milliken, passed peacefully away at his home on April 13, 2025. He was born on July 31, 1938, to Roger and Helen (Anderson) Williams in Greeley. He grew up and went to school in Johnstown. Following this, he took premed at La Sierra University in California. He went to dental school and medical school at Loma Linda University in California. Further training included Oromaxillofacial and general surgery residencies, which were followed by a Plastic Surgery Fellowship. He also did a two-year stint at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson as a Captain.

In 1959, in Orlando, Florida, he married the love of his life, Elizabeth Stromberg, and they were married 65 years. From this union, they had three children, Tammy (Gary) Riegsecker, of Milliken; Jenny (Dan) Werner, of Johnstown; and Dallas (Kriss), of Milliken.

Over the next 50 years, he practiced General and Emergency Medicine, Full-body Plastic Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery.

After retirement, he and his wife lived on the same family farm where he grew up. They lived in a “barndominium.” He enjoyed many different hobbies. He also authored and published two books, The Legend of Boofus and Goofus and Devastation.

He had a passion for cars and especially trucks and had acquired quite a collection. He loved being outdoors and working on his farm and was a rancher at heart. He had a

See OBITS strong faith in God, loved telling stories, and sharing his wealth of knowledge to anyone who would listen. He was a wonderful, wise and fun-loving father and grandfather, and loved spending time with his family. He will be so, so missed, but we have the blessed assurance that we will see him again.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Marvin, Donny and Daryll. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, of Milliken; one sister, Dianne, of Georgia; his three children; four grandsons; one granddaughter; one step-grandson; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. He never knew a stranger.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Dreams and Dragonflies in Johnstown on June 4 at 3 p.m.
