Don, as he was known to his friends and family, lived a full life. He was an artist, composer, author, musician, aircraft pilot, entrepreneur, inventor and most notably an engineer. As a top-level engineer for IBM and Storage Technology computer companies, he received awards for the electronic designs on many stateof- the-art computer storage devices and he holds patents on several related inventions. In 1976, with his wife Nancy and brother Derryl, he founded MECA, a personal computer company at the very genesis of the personal computer industry.

He is survived by his faithful wife Darlean; sons, David Reese and Mark Louis; as well as 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

His ashes will be spread upon his mother’s grave in Atoka, Oklahoma.
