In October 1960, he married Fabiola “Viola” Odilia Cordova at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.
Felix began working at the Johnstown Great Western Sugar Factory at a very young age, then worked for Monfort and then for Sherwood Enterprise in Longmont, which became Reliant, retiring in 2011.
He loved playing poker, gambling, dice, shooting pool and time with his family, especially the grandkids.
Survivors include his wife, Viola; their children, Danny (Shelly) Quintana, Jenny Quintana, Tina (John) Olivas, Susan Quintana and Mary-Jane Quintana; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Archie (Dora) Quintana, Dan (Angie) Quintana and Connie (Manuel) Crespin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Lewis; his sisters, Pauline Dominguez, Marie Garcia, Martina Arizmendi and Bea Carrillo; as well as his grandson, John Olivas.
A visitation was held July 7 at Adamson Life Celebration Home followed by a Recitation of the Rosary. Mass of Christian Burial was July 8 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnstown. Interment at the Johnstown Cemetery. A reception followed at Grace Community Church, in Johnstown.
