The Weld RE-5J School Board held its monthly meeting on February 19. As the end of the school year is approaching, the 2025-26 school year is already being prepared. For instance, next year Roosevelt High School will not only be expanding its dual enrollment but will also be offering a variety of new classes and certification courses.
One new course that will be added is Construction Geometry. This year-long class will only be offered to students from 10-12 grade, and is designed specifically for those entering into the construction field directly after graduation. Students will also have to be concurrently enrolled in either Construction Systems or Advanced Woodworking.
