The Roosevelt Rough Riders girls basketball regular season has officially come to an end. They put up an impressive record at 20-3, including an unbeaten 14-0 league record, giving them the championship of the Longs Peak League. Three of the 20 wins came this past week, all on the road.
Roosevelt’s first win was last Tuesday against the 12-7 Berthoud Spartans. Berthoud has been on a big slide from the beginning of the season, considering they started at 9-0, and have since only won three games. They were unable to get back on that winning train as the Lady Riders defeated them 75-44.
