In many small towns there are sometimes hidden gems within their rural populations that grow and bring a sense of pride to their communities. Young Andrew Schroeder was among Johnstown and Milliken’s diamonds in the rough, and next week the public has the chance to experience his talent for themselves.
The community is invited to attend “An Evening with Andrew Schroeder, Operatic Baritone” as he mesmerizes his audience with songs from America and around the world. The recital, jointly sponsored by the Johnstown Historical Society and Roosevelt High School, will be held at 7 p.m. February 26 at RHS’s Performing Arts Center.
