JOHNSTOWN – Town Council was excited to kickstart the holiday season, with a record-breaking meeting time of just 11 minutes on December 16; besting the previous record for the shortest Town Council meeting with a length of 17 minutes.
On the very short action agenda was a single resolution to purchase property in Loveland. Owned by Charlotte Yelek, the approximately 67 acres is located at 7762 E. County Road 16. The Town of Johnstown and the owner of the property have agreed to purchase the land for $1 million, as well as other miscellaneous closing costs.
