It may have been a bit of a surprise to watch the Roosevelt Poms team win the 4A poms state championship yet again, but after winning three state titles in a row, it was almost expected they’d win an amazingly unprecedented fourth title.
The Riders went into the final by scoring an 89.75 in the semifinals. They then followed that up with a zero deduction 91.775 in the finals to win the state championship. Holy Family came in 2nd with a 90.5, Standley Lake 3rd with a 90.475, and Windsor rounded out the final four with an 88.5.
