Under new head coach Thomas Ervin, the Roosevelt Rough Rider boys basketball team is off to a 3-1 start this season. The Riders didn’t get their third win last season until January 24, just to put things into perspective.
The first win of the season came against Eagle Ridge Academy on December 2 by a score of 72-49. December 5, they lost to the Pueblo East Eagles 46-30. December 6 ushered a 50-32 win against the Canon City Tigers, and the Glenwood Springs Demons fell to the Riders on December 7 by a score of 46-44.
