The holidays might be merry and bright for some, but for others in the community who don’t have the resources, the time can be stressful and dark. The Johnstown/Milliken Christmas Caring program seeks to bring the communities together to reach out to our neighbors-in-need by providing gifts for children (birth to 17 years) and a family food box.
The program, organized by Cornerstone Church in Johnstown, has served an average of 60 families in need in the two communities each holiday season since 1989.
