MILLIKEN – During the Town Board meeting on October 23, trustees voted unanimously in favor of sending a letter of support for a grant application with the Colorado Department of Transportation Multimodal Transportation Mitigation Fund. The grant would assist with the costs associated with the VIA Mobility Program, which started operating in Milliken in August of this year.
Headquartered in Boulder, VIA Mobility has been serving the wider Colorado community for over four decades. The company strives to promote independence and self-sufficiency for people with limited mobility, according to VIA’s website.
