The year was 2008. Back then Iron Man became the first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tesla rolled out the first ever massed produced lithium-ion powered car, Google Chrome became a thing, Barack Obama became America’s first ever African-American president and Roosevelt Rough Riders Aaron Alarcon, Jason Arizmendi, Richard Castillo, Dillan Stoor, Ammon Lewis, Tanner Thorp and Presley Papacheck made it to the 2008 CHSAA State Cross-Country Meet as a team.
