No. 1 ranked Roosevelt football won a big one last Thursday night in Parker against the 4A 4th ranked Ponderosa Mustangs 42-24.
The Mustangs jumped off to a quick first quarter lead, scoring quickly in their first possession of the game. The Riders came back stronger in their first possession with a quick 4-yard touchdown from junior running back Milo Pasqual. Ponderosa would respond with another touchdown of their own to end the quarter with a 14-7 lead.
