Thanks to a generous donation by Scheels, the Johnstown Police Department has announced a new “JT Ballers!” program. Officers will now have sports balls in their cruisers, ready to hand out to kids and teens during their shifts. Chief Jeff Strossner (pictured here on the left) said, “The JT Ballers! program is a fantastic opportunity for our officers to build positive relationships with the youth in our community. We’re excited to connect with kids and teens in a way that’s fun and encourages physical activity. This is just another step in our ongoing commitment to strengthening the bond between our officers and the Johnstown community.”
