Milliken has gained a new resource with the Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) program now being held at the community center. The program was recently introduced this summer and aims to help families of those suffering from addiction learn positive skills to manage the situation. The class meets every Thursday from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
The course is being taught by Georgia Landrus and Onyx Sperry. Both individuals come with backgrounds from North Colorado Health Alliance (NCHA), with Sperry having taught the course several times. Landrus, who is five years in recovery, brings compassion and empathy to the table.
