WELD COUNTY – The Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment (WCDPHE) invites all Weld County residents to participate in a tire disposal event this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Center, 1311 North 17th Avenue in Greeley.
Participants can turn in up to four passenger car or light truck tires. The tires must be off rim and will be accepted at the discretion of HHW staff. Reservations are required to schedule a drop-off time on the HHW webpage. This pilot program is designed to reduce waste and minimize the environmental impact of improperly disposed tires. Previously limited to residents of unincorporated Weld County, the event is now open to all Weld County residents.
