The Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment (WCDPHE) is hosting a tire disposal event on Saturday, August 3, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Center, 1311 North 17th Avenue in Greeley.
This pilot program is designed to reduce waste and minimize the environmental impact of improperly disposed tires and will be limited to residents of unincorporated Weld County – those residents who do not live in any incorporated city or town.
