JOHNSTOWN – At the Town Council meeting on July 1, an ordinance authorizing the issuance of revenue bonds to provide for improvements to the water treatment system passed 5-0. Councilmembers Jesse Molinar Jr. and Damien Berg were absent from the meeting.
The Town of Johnstown currently plans to use a portion of the bond’s proceeds to fund the construction of a new raw water trunk line from Lone Tree Reservoir to the current treatment plant.
