MILLIKEN – At the June 26 Town Board of Trustees meeting, Town Administrator Cheryl Powell presented an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Colorado Department of Transportation to add ADA compliant sidewalks along the south side of Forrest Avenue.
“Last year we applied for the Safe Routes to School grant and were denied that grant funding,” Powell said. “We quickly turned it around and applied for a Transportation Alternative grant, and so, we got it in order to install sidewalks where there aren’t sidewalks.”
