With scorching hot weather moving across the U.S., Colorado has been placed under a heat advisory since the beginning of June.
While June has historically been the beginning of the hottest season of the year, the average tends to be around 79 degrees Fahrenheit. This year, however, there have been record high temperatures in the mid-90s.
