Past, present and Future Farmers of America

What exactly does FFA mean? FFA stands for Future Farmers of America. Its agrarian roots stretch back almost a century.

But today FFA is much more than that according to Roosevelt High School agriculture teacher and FFA advisor Brent Hopkins. “FFA is a high school student leadership organization focused on differing leadership skills that will be primarily used throughout agriculture,” he said. FFA has been around the United States before we gained Alaska and Hawaii. It was formed in 1928. In 2000, Roosevelt started its own FFA program with Hopkins as the advisor.
