At the RE-5J School Board meeting April 3 it was a night of celebration and recognizing the various teams around the district that competed in state in their respective activities Superintendent Scott Nielsen and the School Board recognized the Milliken Middle School girls wrestling team. The team won their division at regionals and placed 11th overall at state.
The members of the wrestling team came up to the board, told the board members where they placed in state, and shook hands with the board members. Three of the wrestlers will be continuing to wrestle on the girls wrestling team at Roosevelt High School.
