People are eagerly awaiting the eclipse this coming Monday. While it won’t be a total one here, it’ll still be a neat natural occurrence. The Glenn A. Jones M.D. Memorial Library in Johnstown is planning an event starting at 10 a.m. on Monday featuring stories, crafts, prizes, a snack and a viewing party. No need to sign up, just show up, but special viewing glasses will only be available for program participants on a first come first served basis.
Speaking (or should it be reading?) about the library, the Elementary Art Show will be on display there from April 8 through April 26. Students from Elwell Elementary, Milliken Elementary, Pioneer Ridge Elementary and Knowledge Quest Academy will be sharing their projects. Stop by and check them out.
