We’ll start off this week with something we should have done last week … but Editor Matt forgot … Belated blow out the candle “Big 6-0” birthday best wishes to Ian Zahn of Johnstown, who celebrated on Monday. Speaking of birthdays, happy birthday to Charlotte Yost, who will celebrate on Sunday.
It was New York newspaper editor Horace Greeley (of Greeley Tribune fame) who said, “Go West, young man, and grow up with the country.” Old Horace could well have been talking about Johnstown, where a whole host of development is about to come to be on the western edge of town.
