The Milliken Middle School nurse is looking for some good used and outgrown clothing. They need girl’s shirts, pants and sweatshirts, new packaged girl’s underwear (size 1214) and boy’s shirts, pants and sweatshirts. You can drop items off at the front office of the middle school during regular school hours.
You’ll no doubt notice some construction on the north end of Parish Avenue in downtown Johnstown over the coming weeks. It’s related to the installation of the signage elements for the curved wall at the plaza. Today (Thursday), contractors will be doing post installation and Friday they will be installing the signage. Work will also continue on Saturday and into next week. A second sign is scheduled to be installed in mid-February. The work is part of Johnstown’s Downtown Branding and Wayfinding effort.
