We got this nice note from Debi Sauer of the J/M Christmas Caring program that she asked to pass along… “There isn’t a word in the English language that can express the gratitude for the generosity shared through J/M Christmas Caring,” Debi wrote. “This is a 100 percent community supported outreach to our neighbors and friends during a time of need. This was another year of “wish list” ornaments taken; gifts purchased and wrapped; donations made to Hays Market for the food/toiletry items; monetary donations made by clubs, businesses and community members; and canned food donated to one of the many school food drives. In addition to the longstanding partnership with Hays Market, and newer partnerships with Glenn A. Jones, M.D. Memorial Library, Milliken Food Pantry and Calico ‘n Jeans 4-H Club, Christmas Caring continues to be a 100 percent community outreach.
