A Roosevelt Middle School student and their parents have been cited, following an incident last week where the student brought an unloaded handgun to school.
“On April 10, Roosevelt Middle School staff was advised a student had been seen with a handgun at school,” Johnstown Police Chief Jeff Strossner said in an email this week. “The administration contacted the eleven-year-old student and recovered the firearm from his backpack. The Johnstown Police responded to the school and initiated an investigation.”
