Olson leads state in pole vault

Ever since her freshman year of high school, senior Taegan Olson has been making a name for herself with the help of Roosevelt High School Track and Field. As she begins her final high school season as a pole vaulter, she is expected to continue her track career at Kansas State University.

While trying to make the most of it one last time, Olson states that her goal for this season is to break the 4A pole vault record, which is currently set at 13 feet 5 inches. She also has set an even bigger goal which is to break the overall Colorado state record, currently sitting at 14 feet. To Olson, it would mean the world to complete this by the end of her senior season.
