The Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment (WCDPHE) is once again helping residents dispose of unwanted items with ease by offering free passes to the North Weld or Front Range Landfills.
The department has a limited number of vouchers for Weld County residents to discard items such as mattresses, couches and tables without incurring disposal costs. Each voucher covers one truckload (level with bed rails) or one trailer weighing up to one ton. Residents will be responsible for any charges exceeding the voucher limits, which must be paid at the time of disposal.
