Residents in Johnstown and Milliken took time out over Memorial Day to honor the true meaning of the holiday, recognizing and remembering those who lost their lives defending this country. Kent Davis, on trumpet, is pictured here with Larry McCannan on bag pipes, at ceremonies held Monday at Johnstown Cemetery by the local VFW Post and Auxiliary. The post held a potluck lunch following the services.
