JOHNSTOWN – Since absorbing a 26-point loss to start the month in Windsor, Roosevelt High School’s boys have played their best basketball and scored 252 points in three games.
Each was a win, including Tuesday’s triumph over Skyline. Senior Michael Mitchell scored a career-high 34 points in an 86-77 victory, which pushed Roosevelt’s record to 13-8 overall and 10-2 in the Tri-Valley League.
The Rough Riders were coming off last Friday’s 87-42 blowout of Berthoud, after ouching Erie 79-54 on Feb. 5.
