AMANDA LYNN MOORE
MOORE
Our beautiful “Manda,” Amanda Lynn Moore, of Ault, earned her Angel wings Feb. 4, 2013, at Swedish Medical Center in Denver, as a result of a brain aneurysm. She was 23.
Amanda was eight months pregnant at the time of the accident. Through the grace of God, and excellent medical care, Amanda’s baby survived.
Amanda was born April 26, 1989, in Fort Collins, to Robert Moore and Traci (Richardson) Friebus.
She had lived in Weld and Larimer counties all her life. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Johnstown, where she was on the cheer team and had many friends.
Amanda earned her certified nursing assistant (CNA) and phlebotomy certificates from Aims Community College in Greeley and worked at Windsor Health Care Center as a CNA. She loved her co-workers and all the residents she worked with.
Amanda was the picture-perfect “oldest” sister and mom.
She spent every second she could with her 4-year-old daughter and five younger siblings. She enjoyed taking them shopping, to the movies, to
Lake Loveland, camping, and playing board games with them.
Amanda would attend her siblings’ sports events and cheer for them whenever she could. She enjoyed fishing with her dad and beloved brother Donovan, and teaching her daughter and younger sisters how to put on make-up and do their hair.
Amanda and her mother were best friends. They worked and played together. They were always together. They had dreams of taking a vacation this year and learning to decorate cakes together. She was a cheerleader for three years and hoped to coach future cheerleaders.
Amanda was full of life. She was generous with her time and love. She would do anything for anyone. Amanda’s death is devastating to her friends and family.
She was baptized and confirmed at Faith Community Lutheran Church in Longmont.
Amanda is survived by her significant other, Nathen Tiger, and his family, who loved her very much; her father, Robert Moore; and her mother, Traci (Richardson) Friebus; daughters, Jessi and Bayla; siblings, Donovan, Nickalas, Kaitlin, Alexandra and Elijah; her grandparents; four aunts; three uncles; and many nieces and nephews. She had a very special relationship with her grandparents.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. March 16 at Summitview Community Church in Fort Collins.
