Riders not looking too far ahead

JOHNSTOWN – It’s back to Roosevelt and Windsor leading the Tri-Valley League boys’ basketball standings.
Those two teams triumphed Tuesday, while Frederick and Mead respectively lost to the Rough Riders and Wizards as the TVL season neared its midway point.
RHS improved to 8-7 overall and 5-1 in the TVL. Friday, the Riders play at Mead (9-5, 4-2), which lost Tuesday at Northridge. They play next week at the Grizzlies (3-12, 2-4), then get a rematch with Windsor (10-5, 5-1) Feb. 1 on the Wizards’ floor.
