Longtime resident of Johnstown passes away at age 89

Nacho Rivera didn’t want to be noticed. It’s just that his work ethic didn’t allow that.

“He wasn’t a guy that drew attention to himself, even for a funeral,” said one of his sons, Tony Rivera.

Ignacio “Nacho” Rivera, 89, passed away Sunday at his Johnstown home. A funeral service is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. today (Jan. 24) at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 2222 23rd Ave., in Greeley.
