JOHNSTOWN – While the majority of shots dropped in last Friday’s 63-40 win over Erie, Roosevelt High School’s girls had trouble finding their range here Tuesday in a 38-30 loss to Berthoud.
The visiting Spartans were coming off last Friday’s loss, by the same score, at Mead. Roosevelt, meanwhile, was coming off a season-high point total in its home win over the Tigers.
Poor shooting, RHS Coach Randy Longoria said, “is going to happen, but you should always have control over what you do defensively.”
Tuesday’s defensive effort against Berthoud should have been good enough to get a win, he said.
