JOHNSTOWN – After tasting victory the first time on the floor this season, Roosevelt High School’s boys’ basketball team carried that momentum into each of its next two games during last weekend’s Northern Colorado Classic.
The results, however, were reversed. Despite carrying leads into the second halves of their games against Thompson Valley and Greeley West, the Rough Riders lost both games. They entered Wednesday’s road game at Silver Creek in Longmont with an overall record of 1-2.
They do, however, host a pair of games Monday and Tuesday to cap the “old-year” portion of their 2012-13 schedule. Northridge visits Monday for a game in the Class 4A Tri-Valley League. Tuesday, Mountain View comes to town for a non-league tilt.
