Matthew Dean Wiest was born at 8:38 a.m. Aug. 6, 2010, at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.
He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces, and measured 20 inches long. His parents are Stephen and Brooke Wiest of Johnstown, and this is their first child.
Grandparents are Daryl and Constance Wiest of Kearney, Mo., and Mark and Susan Hackmeier of Estes Park.
Great-grandparents are Doris Feingerts of New Orleans, and Patti Beren of Broomfield.
