Christmas came a bit late (or maybe early for next year) when Trystan Tams (above), a 9th grader at Roosevelt High School, brought toys into the Johnstown Police Department in mid-January for the “Santa Cops” program. Tams is shown receiving a Certificate of Appreciation from JPD Det. Kathy Major. Major also presented an award to Johnstown United Methodist Church Pastor Peter Freytag (right), who has collected monetary donations of at least $500 each year for the past several years. An individual, who wished to remain anonymous, was also presented an award for the monetary donation of at least $500 each year for the past several years. Do you have a picture for Page 3?
