While Democrats and Republicans can’t seem to agree on much of anything these days, there’s no partisanship when it comes to recognizing good art. Nine students are representing Roosevelt High School in the 2013 Congressional Art Show sponsored by Congressman Cory Gardner’s office. Drawings, paintings, mixed media work and photography by seniors (back row) Alex Franklin, Hannah Eining, Jarrod Hoffman, Riley Hatch and (front row) Caity Minard, Sarah Bolinger, juniors Trevor Seymour and Stephanie Perez, and senior Sami Oldson (not pictured) are on display through the month of March at the Sod Buster Inn in Greeley. A reception for the public and the awards celebration will be held on March 29 at 4:30 p.m.
