JT gridders on team seeking national championship
By Martin B. Hamilton/The Johnstown BreezeLOVELAND – Two players from Johnstown, Nicholas Wall and Tannor Shuffler, are members of the Loveland Titans football team that has advanced to the Pop Warner National Championships.
Wall and Shuffler, sixth-graders at Milliken Middle School, play a number of positions for the Titans. This season, Wall has lined up at wingback, tight end and wideout on offense, outside linebacker and safety on defense, and also special teams on the punt and kickoff squads.
Shuffler plays defensive end, left guard, and at times is positioned at linebacker.
