Scholastic artists - Roosevelt High School senior Jarrod Hoffman took top honors in photography in the Scholastic Art Awards of Colorado Exhibition for “The Cross of Kerry” (shown here). Hoffman also received a scholarship to the Art Institute of Colorado based on the strength of his portfolio. Taking home a Silver Key was junior Trevor Seymour for his drawing “Flower.” Honorable Mentions for drawing were earned by Taylor Guy and Sarah Bolinger. All students will receive their awards at Jefferson High School on Feb. 16.  The Scholastic Art Awards Exhibition will be on display at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Denver from Feb. 14 to March 2.
